Loukas’ new work brings an earthy element to this show with curvaceous burr wood forms, turned from twisted root balls - the literal roots of his local landscape. Using rare, ancient windfalls from Anglesey Abbey and other old Cambridgeshire gardens, he has revealed the complex character of wood that has matured over hundreds of years.
